Outdoor Adventures Professional Development

SCHEDULING POLICY

Note: When scheduling your professional development session pay close attention to these details:

• Schedule Professional Development eight weeks prior to event.
• Only 1 Outdoor Adventures Specialist will be in attendance. Concurring sessions must not conflict with another topic. For Example: Cannot offer 2 sessions at the same time. (NOTE: What if they want 2 OA Specialist because they have more than 40 teachers or concurring sessions? Submit 2 different PD events or do we build in a second OA Specialist in the checkout process?)
• All equipment must be provided by the school. Order your equipment in advance. In addition, some standard physical education equipment will be requested (poly spots, cones, scooter boards, etc.)
• If you want to repeat a session, your total selected sessions must equal 3 sessions for half day or 6 sessions for full day. For example: Select 2 topics to be repeated 3 times for a full day.
• All sessions require a gym/indoor space and an outdoor space (weather permitting) except the Dutch-oven cooking session is 100% outdoor.
• Topics must be selected when scheduling.
• No refunds, no substitutions for sessions, venues and no cancellations once professional development has been scheduled.
• The Outdoor Adventures Specialist assigned will be the designated point of contact.
• Live PD sessions are capped at 40 participants. If more than 40 participants attend a second invoice will be sent to the school following the session at $10.00 per participant.
